How to add video to a news story. The directions to follow assume that your video is stored over on the College's media folder.
1. You need to know the file folder path. It should look something like this:
http://Media.wm.edu/content/wm/news/marcusedit4forweb.flv
2. Create a media folder, then create one to house the new video you want to share with viewers. When you edit this page, you drop the folder path into the "Media Asset" box. In the title box, drop in the verbiage that you want to appear as a link to your video. (You don't have to start the verbiage with "Video:" as Cascade will do that for you).
3. Publish this media folder.
4. No go back to your story - or create your story in the news folder. Load your photo for the story into a photoset. Go back to the story and now hit "edit" and then scroll down to the "Other Media Media" section. Choose "media type" as video and then under "media page" surf to your new media folder and click on index.
5. Once you publish your story your video should pop up (next to a movie camera icon) on the bottom right of your photoset.
