Main web:
events pull from 2009 folder and news pulls from 2009 folder
Create 2010 News folder:
Within News folder, click on Stories folder.
Under “New” at the top menu, choose “Listing Folder,” then choose “Listing Folder-Stories”
Type in at Display Name “2010,” click “Display in Menu,” type in “2010” under system name, click submit
Within the new 2010 folder, create a new story by going up to “New” and choosing “News story,” I created a fake one Title “Jaime’s 2010 story”
I then published the story, the 2010 folder, and the News folder.
I then went to the “index” page of stories, and changed the redirect so it pointed to “law.wm.edu/news/stories/2010/index. & republished that page
I published the entire “Stories” folder.
I clicked on the “Stories” folder and moved folders so 2010 was on top, then 2009, then 2008, etc.
Create 2010 Events folder:
Under “New” at the top menu, choose “Listing Folder,” then choose “Listing Folder-Events”
Type in at Display Name “2010,” click “Display in Menu,” type in “2010” under system name, click submit
Within the new 2010 folder, create a new event by going up to “New” and choosing “event,” I created a fake one Title “Jaime’s 2010 event”
I then published the event, the 2010 folder, and the Events folder.
I then went to the “index” page of events, and changed the redirect so it pointed to “law.wm.edu/news/events/2010/index. & republished that page
I published the entire “Events” folder.
I clicked on the “Events” folder and moved folders so 2010 was on top, then 2009, then 2008, etc.
Last step: Go to the index page of the Law School site; click on the building blocks icon above “Events”; change “index folder” to the proper year folder
